The 69th Taormina Film Festival will have the world premiere of In the Fire, starring Amber Heard. On June 24, 2023, the movie’s world debut will take place at the Teatro Antico di Taormina. 2023’s Festival will take place from June 23 to July 1st. The story of the movie claims:
A wealthy farm in Colombia welcomes a 38-year-old American psychiatrist (widowed and childless) who has been asked to investigate the case of a troubled child. The mother of the child called her because she was concerned about the local priest’s and farmers’ more persistent claims that the child is the devil. The farmers were being plagued by inexplicable bad happenings. When the doctor comes, she finds that the boy’s mother has passed away and that the father has started to suspect that the child might be in his possession.
Conor Allyn, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Pascal Borno and Silvio Muraglia, is the film’s director. Eduardo Noriega, Lorenzo McGovern Zaini, and Luciano Calvani are all featured in the movie.
