I fondly recall the days of the 1990s, when a television set consisted of a large video box with eight buttons on the side. It was expensive to subscribe to, and there weren’t too many channels.
We have come a long way since then, with an explosion in the number of channels available, affordable or free subscriptions, and the widespread availability of television on both compact LED TVs and mobile devices. These days, live-streaming TV is all the rage.
Live Tv App
There are two main categories of TV channels: those that are free to see and those that need payment. The majority of these live-streaming TV services will require a paid subscription to access the paid channels while allowing access to the free channels and on-demand content.
The best free Windows Live TV apps are shown here.
1. Live Sports and TV:

This app, while common to sports, has developed a user base across all demographics and has received positive reviews as a result.
The Live Sports and TV app provides access to over 800 channels of live and on-demand sports, news, movies, and more. In addition to RTSP, RTMP, RTMPE, and HLS live streaming, the program now supports SD-quality feeds.
Crowdsourcing is used for the database, much like SoundCloud. Instead, people can join the same group and make contributions through shared channels. You can get this program from the Microsoft Store, which is where you’re currently located.
2. FilmOn Live TV:

The FilmOn Live TV app allows you to watch TV in low-quality standard definition from all the main networks. As a plus, it reduces data transfer over the web. If customers want to watch their channels in high definition, they may have to pay a little cost on top of the app’s free price.
FilmOn Live TV is a streaming television application that broadcasts to users in the United States, Europe, South America, and Asia. Only PCs can run this program. You can get it from the Microsoft Store if you like it.

The app is published by Google Inc., making it an official extension of the Youtube website. Unlike traditional cable, you don’t need a cable box to watch it; it functions much like Youtube’s streaming channels. It works with both Google Chromecast and Apple Airplay.
YouTube TV also includes a feature that lets you keep DVD movies in the cloud for up to 9 months. The software supports English and Spanish, however, it is only available in the United States. The app is available for download through the Microsoft Store.
4. Sling TV

Sling TV is a highly regarded app that provides access to more than 100 channels including entertainment, news, sports, and more. Yet, that isn’t the main draw of the program. The feature enables the streaming of videos on demand.
Sling TV’s streaming service is available in 18 different languages. Sling TV is one of the best live TV apps available on the Microsoft Store. The channels included are those dedicated to news, sports, children, film, lifestyle, etc. Download the app from the Microsoft Store if you’re interested.

5. NetTV Plus

It’s interesting to see that the interface and overall usability of these Live TV applications matter more to their rating than the actual functions they offer. It could be because people really don’t care about anything beyond the necessities.
It’s hardly surprising to see that NetTV Plus, a relatively straightforward app, has received positive reviews. You can use it with Windows 10 with no problems, and reviews have been very positive. Click here to download the app from the Microsoft Store.
