Beetz will star inJoker: Folie Deux, the sequel to 2019 s Joker. She will reprise her role as Sophie Dumond, appearing alongside Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga. Directed by Todd Phillips and written by Phillips and Scott Silver, the film will be released by Warner Bros. Pictures on October 4, 2024.
