The Marvels’ post-credits information has been made public. The film is set to release onNovember 10, 2023, as part of Phase Five of the MCU. However, prior to the official release, thepost-credits scenes were leaked online, leading to main spoiler alerts.
The Marvels Post-Credits
In the first post-credits scene, Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) wakes up in a hospital and sees her mom, Maria Rambeau, dressed asCaptain MarvelfromDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It suggests that this scene takes place in a different universe where Maria is also Captain Marvel, rather thanEarth-838. This scene parallels episode 4 of WandaVision where Monica wakes up in a hospital and discovers her mom is missing.
In the second post-credits scene, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) has a tablet for keeping tabs on all the heroes currently active. At the end of the film, Kamala (Iman Vellani) takes the tablet and tracks down Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld). To Kate s surprise, Kamala shows up at the Bishop s residence. Kamala tells Kate about the events of The Marvels and how the Young Heroes need to team up. She asks Kate, Did you know Scott Lang has a daughter? 399 setting up the Young Avengers.
The Marvels is a sequel to Captain Marvel (2019), continues the Ms. Marvel miniseries (2022), and is the 33rd film in the MCU. Directed byNia DaCosta, it starsBrie Larsonas Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel,Teyonah Parrisas Monica Rambeau, and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel. The story revolves around Danvers, Rambeau, and Khan swapping places when they use their powers and join forces.
The Marvels hits theaters on November 10, 2023.
