Peacock has canceled Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin after just one season. The decision to renew it for Season 2 was made in early January, however it has since been revoked.
Why was Pitch Perfect: Bumper In Berlin Season 2 Canceled?
Deadline claims that work stoppages caused by the ongoing 2023 SAG-AFTRA and 2023 Writers Guild of America strikes were the reason behind the show’s discontinuation. Due to the production delays brought on by these strikes, the show’s intended release dates were missed and there were large gaps between seasons.

Based on characters created by Kay Cannon, this show is a TV spin-off of the Pitch Perfect film series, developed by Megan Amram and Elizabeth Banks. Flaula Borgas Pieter Kr mer, Adam DeVineas Bumper Allen, Sarah Hylandas Heidi, Jameela Jamilas Gisela, Lera Abovaas DJ Das Boot/Thea, and Katharina Thalbachas Ursula are among the cast members.
The series is set several years after the events of the films. Devine returns as Bumper Allen, who moves to Germany to revive his music career when one of his songs becomes big in Berlin.
Max Handelman, Megan Amram, Paul Brooks, Scott Niemeyer, and Elizabeth Banks produced.
Six episodes from the first season debuted on Peacock on November 23, 2022. The show was terminated in September 2023 after receiving a second season renewal in January 2023.
